Vimacc analytics is a special extension that works on the base of artificial intelligence. The extension offers features such as object recognition (vehicles, people, etc.). In addition, the detected objects can be individually pixelated. This means that the type of unrecognizability can be, for example, a pixelation, a colored area or a colored shader. A special feature here is that even stationary objects are detected and made unrecognizable accordingly. By integrating the extension into the rights management of vimacc, the conditions of the resolution in clear images can be adjusted as desired. If objects are detected by the AI, video image scenarios can be activated based on rules or other events such as alarms or automatic recordings can take place.
A good practical example is platform monitoring. Here, persons on the platform as well as on the tracks can be detected. Persons on the platform can be pixelated in a privacy-compliant manner. A person on the tracks, on the other hand, is displayed in clear image, visually highlighted by a red shader. Clear image because in this scenario the person on the track is a source of danger. In the danger zone (track), precise information, e.g. facial expressions or gestures, is needed to assess the situation (e.g. active train blockage, stop, accident, etc.). At the same time, an event can be triggered which draws the operator's attention to the person. Due to the color representation, the operator can immediately visually grasp the situation.
vimacc analytics can be used individually and can be configured for a wide range of requirements. Areas of application can be, for example, the monitoring of tunnels, parking lots, railroad crossings or platforms.
Vimacc analytics offers many new functions to make video surveillance even better - independent of manufacturer, of course. The extension can be integrated into already existing systems. Read more about vimacc here or meet us in person at the VfS Congress on October 19/20 in Kassel. We look forward to your questions and suggestions.
